How to get into golf as a beginner - Sian Platt's story

Sian Platt was worried about equipment, clothes and her ability when she joined Cardiff Golf Club in 2018. However, her worries were quickly dispelled thanks to a welcoming atmosphere and sense of community within the golf club. It helped Sian on her road to progressing and improving as a golfer, the same people she first played with are here friends and consistent playing partners now.

The R&A’s #FOREeveryone campaign is designed to make golf more inviting and open to women and girls who have never picked up a golf club before.
