What to Expect

  • We’ll start by discussing what you’re looking to get out of lessons
  • You can bring your own clubs or borrow some for the lesson
  • We’ll take a look at your current swing, even if you’ve never swung a club before, and discuss what could be worked on
  • We’ll go through practice routines you can do at home between lessons
  • We’ll create a plan for the next few lessons

About James

Hi, my name is James, I am the Head PGA Teaching Professional at the Hereford Golf Academy. I offer lessons to golfers of all abilities ranging from complete beginners through to tour professionals. I specialise in Putting and am a Science & Motion Level 3 and SPi Level 2 Putting Instructor. All my lessons are tailored to the individuals specific needs and requirements. At the Hereford Golf Academy we are lucky to house some of the best coaching facilities in the area. Our Trackman driving range as well as our short game area for chipping practice can be used depending upon which area of your game you are looking to improve. Course lessons are also available upon request and are a great way of providing course management insight. We have a state of the art Trackman Studio helping me provide detailed analytic reviews and video analysis on your swing. We are also lucky to have access to Capto, a specialist Putting measuring device, which allows me to look at over 15 different parameters of the putting stroke. Read More
