What to Expect

  • Whether you've been searching online for 'golf lessons near me' or whether I've been recommended by someone you know, your first lesson with me will be a little bit different from the 'norm' - only I don't offer the likes of an initial 'free' or 'cheaper' first lesson, and nor do I offer a so-called 'assessment lesson'.
  • Instead, I want to ascertain to whether I'm going to be the right coach for you - and to whether you're going to be the right 'student' for me.
  • Therefore, after our initial communication, whether that be via email or phone (or both), and after my finding out a bit about you and you finding out a bit (more) about me, we'll arrange to meet and first have an informal chat about you and your golfing aspirations progressing forward - and also your preferred learning style too (whether that be visual, auditory or kinaesthetic), so as I can then adapt my coaching style to suit you accordingly.
  • Then we can get the 'ball rolling' from there, whereby I can start to 'work' with you on some basic fundamentals if you're a beginner or whereby I can start to 'work' with you on some significant improvements to your golfing performance if you're a more established player.
  • Thereafter, I will encourage you to communicate with me further to discuss your first lesson with me in more detail, exchanging notes and then mutually deciding on a bespoke 'plan of action' for you progressing forward - as take note from the outset, your learning and improving at golf will be a journey for us both, together.

About Adrienne

My name is Adrienne (aka Adie) and I'm the PGA Advanced Fellow Professional at Colmworth Golf Club (CGC), which is not only arguably one of the friendliest and most relaxed golf courses in England(!), but is also situated in beautiful North Bedfordshire, and located close to the borders of both Northamptonshire ('The Rose of the Shires') and Cambridgeshire (most famous, of course, for the historical and stunning university city of Cambridge). I offer an array of golf coaching services - from 1-2-1 tuition through to group classes - which are truly bespoke and inclusive, and suitable for all ages and abilities. Specialising in 'Golf in a Day' experiences, short-game lessons and on-course coaching sessions, I love having the opportunity to nurture talent, improve ability and generally increase people's overall enjoyment of the game. In addition, I also offer residential golf coaching breaks, whereby residents can stay in one of the gorgeous lakeside holiday cottages at CGC, with no equipment or experience needed - and no silly dress code!
